Group Work as a Learning Strategy in Higher Education

This article presents the results of a research conducted with higher education teachers who work in Pedagogy degree course private college city São Paulo. The objective was investigating criteria used organization students for development group activities classroom. qualitative included questionnaires and interviews professors. allowed to point out professors are - profile, academic background, time teaching if they make use how this methodology as learning strategy. result confirmed hypothesis that can offer concrete opportunity build knowledge cooperative way potential student relate various ways. However, order achieve proposed objectives, needs an active participation willingness cooperate teacher must have systematic monitoring groups.
